RE - why do Christians say sorry?

In RE this week, we are learning all about forgiveness. We know that it is important to say sorry and apologise. We listened to a story called ‘I’m Sorry’ by Sam McBratney. We spoke about how sorry means we will not do it again. We say sorry when we feel bad for our action and have done something wrong. We ask for forgiveness from both the person we are apologising too, as well as God.
