Headteacher
Welcome to Oxton St Saviour's Church of England Primary School.
The St Saviour's community are united in their ambition to create a school which embodies the person, love and work of Jesus Christ: a school which enables Christian values to flourish and where all children may experience the abundant life that Jesus offers. Pupils, parents, staff, church and governors work tirelessly to realise this vision. Together, we seek new ways to enhance our standards and achievements.
Our last OFSTED inspection was deemed good and Church SIAMS inspection was judged excellent. Only 20% of schools have recieved this accolade and we are one of only two schools on the Wirral to be awarded this. This was an acknowledgement richly deserved by staff, governors and children alike.
Our school is very closely linked to the local church - Oxton St Saviour’s. The school enjoys a very close relationship and we make regular visits there with all the children. Members of the clergy also visit the school to lead collective worship and to offer a caring ear to any child or member of staff who needs a quiet word.
You are most welcome to arrange a visit to experience the school for yourself. I will always endeavour to make myself available to answer any questions or discuss issues as they arise.
